Glamorous Bridal Shower or Wedding Favor Idea featuring My M&M's!

When it comes to favors for weddings or bridal showers, I’m all about something simple and edible. Personalized trinkets can be costly and often end up in the garbage, so why not treat your guests to a tasty morsel they’ll actually enjoy? It’s all about giving them a little something to say “thanks for being here!” There are lots of ways to personalize an edible favor, and one of my favorites is custom-printed candies from MyMMs.com!

DIY Bridal Shower Favors with My M&M’s!

Champagne-Themed Bridal Shower or Wedding Favors

MY M&M’S asked me to put together a cute favor idea that would be perfect for a bridal shower, wedding, or any other bridal event so of course, I jumped at the chance! I decided to go with a glamorous gold theme — playing off the idea of a Champagne toast, I created these adorable favors packaged in plastic champagne glasses! Not only do they look absolutely precious (and delicious) but how amazing would they look on a favor table? It’s all about the presentation, y’all!

To coordinate with my champagne/gold theme, I chose Golden, Cream, and White M&M’S to mimic the look of bubbly champagne! For the imprinting on my candies, I chose clip art from the My M&M’s site featuring clinking champagne glasses and fireworks as well as a custom message “Cheers to Love!” Too cute, right? Ordering was quick and easy, and I received my completed order within about a week!

MY M&M’S has a plethora of options for favor and gift packaging if you don’t want to DIY your favors, but they also have DIY kits featuring mini tins or lace bags that you can use to create your own favors! I had something special in mind, so I decided to order a 5lb bulk bag of candies from the MY M&M’s site, and it came with a handy scoop that is perfect for assembling favors!

Supplies:

• plastic champagne flutes
• tulle circles
• elastic gold loops
• bulk bag of M&M’S
• scoop

For the favor packaging, I picked up some plastic champagne flutes  and these 10-inch tulle circles from Amazon. I also had these elastic gold loops on hand from some gift packaging that I used for this project.

To create the favors:

1. Assemble the plastic champagne flutes by placing the cup portion into the stand.
2. Scoop the M&M’S into the flutes. (about 2 scoops in each glass)
3. Place the tulle circles over the tops of the flutes and cinch at the stem
4. Holding the tulle cinched at the stem, wrap the elastic gold loops around the tulle and stem until tight. (I did 3 loops)
5. Arrange the finished favors in a lovely display!
